I'm recording from Australia and working on the Curious Collective 2014 design. Thank you to my show sponsor: Juno Fibre Arts is an artisan yarn and fibre company producing a unique hand dyed collection of yarns and spinning fibres for handknits, spinning, felting and weaving. The Juno studio is located in the grounds of an old, working farm in rural Devon, surrounded by British countryside and the range draws inspiration from its stunning pastoral setting. Juno yarn is dyed in small and exclusive batches and is available in limited editions on the Juno Arts Etsy shop so look out for the monthly shop updates towards the end of each month. This week I'm recording from Australia. I'm talking a little bit about our travels and various Curious Handmade knit alongs happening at the moment. Thank you to my show sponsor: Juno Fibre Arts is an artisan yarn and fibre company producing a unique hand dyed collection of yarns and spinning fibres for handknits, spinning, felting and weaving. Global Nomad I'm recording from the Sunshine Coast in Australia this week. I've brought the girls over for a couple of weeks for their summer holidays and to spend time with my family. We're enjoying the nature in the area and the kids are enjoying looking out for local birdlife and ticking off their sightings in their Young Birders' Birding Booklets from Birdlife Australia. I was given a lovely birthday gift from my sister of some handpainted mohair and merino lace weight yarn from Touch Yarns in New Zealand. And also some local Alpaca yarn from Mum and Dad that I need to investigate further. What's in the WIP? Pebble Beach Shawlette Pebble Beach Shawlette in Skein Australia Yarn - I'm up to about 25% The Pebble Beach KAL is in week 3 and the goal by Sunday 3 August is 75%.
